Theatre activity is buzzing, with two shows premiering this weekend. "De Honeymoon Over" is playing at the Harquail Theatre, and "Don't Blame it on the Boots" runs with "Easy Stages" at the Prospect Playhouse.

"De Honeymoon Over", written by Donna Tull, is the recent first prize winner of the CNCF Playwriting Competition. The comedy stars stage veterans Harwell McCoy, Alan Ebanks, Consuelo Ebanks and Marcia Muttoo, with Tonya Mitchell making her debut. Prospect Playhouse goers will get an insight into the theatre behind the scenes, with the two one-act productions "Easy Stages" and "Don't Blame it on the Boots".

The two plays join together to show the difficulties of the rehearsel process, from point of view of the stagehands and actors.

"De Honeymoon Over" will be at the Harquail Theatre for two weekends, including this one. The Cayman Drama Society one-acts can be seen for the next three weekends, including this one.
