The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman and the teenage committee of Graffiti's regret that the nightclub will be closed for the next two weeks for renovations.

Val Lichtenstein of Kiwanis said much work needs to be done inside, and they are hoping to expand the club slightly. Pirates Week provided an excellent opportunity to make these changes without upsetting the social life of their teenage members too much, as there are many other activities they can go to.

Mr. Lichtenstein apologised for any inconvenience to Graffiti's members but wished them "a fun and safe Pirates Week." He added that when Graffiti's reopens on Friday 9 November, the club will "hopefully be bigger and better than ever."
