I sincerely thank the Cayman Drama Society and the Music Club on another great performance, Fiddler On The Roof. The talent on this island is amazing, and the facility (the Harquail Theatre) is very nice.

After being involved in one of the recent productions of the Cayman Drama Society, I found out what long hours and hard work it took to put on a performance. Each production puts on about 8 to 10 performances, which is not that many, and most are on the weekends. I am somewhat concerned at the small amount of spectators present at the performances. There were more people on stage than in the audience. When leaving the theatre, I was very saddened to see the parking lots of the Cayman Islander and the Cinema filled to overflowing. I can not understand why, when there is something so culturally enlightening and different than the everyweekend things to do, that people are still out in the bars and doing other things when they could be at the Harquail Theatre enjoying and supporting the talent on this island. A Concerned Friend of the Cayman Drama Society
