Organizer of Cayman Drama Society "Club Night," P. Anthony White has issued a note of thanks to all CDS members and others who turned out to perform at the function "under extremely adverse weather conditions." The affair was held on the patio of the Ports of Call Restaurant, and a fierce wind and high seas competed with performers who managed to struggle through with the aid of microphones. These included Toni Parker, Penny Phillips, Carol Duncan, Val Watts, Sarah Bourne-Taylor. There was also a special magic presentation by Mystic and Lulu.

Lighting for the evening was by Peter Phillips.

Penny Phillips, who was erroneously reported in the press as being a co-organizer, did not fill that role on this occasion although Mrs. Phillips has co-organized two CDS "Club Nights" in the past. Last year's society president, she was responsible for the direction of the pantomime, "Jack and the Beanstalk," earlier this year.
