Eat your heart out, Broadway, Cayman's pulled off something you've dreamed about for decades!

Last night both the Town Hall in George Town and the Le Jardin Room at the Royal Palms Hotel were packed with first nighters people who live for the opportunity of attending the first performance of a theatrical production. Apparently at both places they were satisfied, as could be ascertained among the late night chatter at the Royal Palms pub and the Cayman Arms. At the Royal Palms a huge cast participated in the Inn Theatre Company's rendition of "Guys and Dolls," while at the Town Hall the Cayman Drama Society was putting on "Don't just lie there, say something". But productions involved girls, skimpily dressed if at all, and in the case of the Inn Theatre do, a healthy contingent of guys, including some prominent Caymanians. Both productions are on again tonight and tomorrow, and next weekend also.
