With effect from tomorrow tickets go on sale for the Cayman Drama Society's next production titled "Chase Me Comrade".

The Society has advised the public to book early for what promises to be Cayman's most popular, and certainly Cayman's funniest production yet. The play itself is a farce, and as can be seen in the accompanying photograph there is plenty of action. The action takes place at the country of Commander Rimmington (played by Steve Williams) whose tranquil existence is disturbed by the arrival of Alicia Courteney (Gale Shaw) Gerry Burs (Nick Press) and (believe it or not) a Russian-speaking ballet dancer, played with poise and elegance by Terry Murphy. From this unlikely opening there ensues a series of incidents, which have had audiences throughout the world in stitches.

Said the play's director, Mike Parker, "I cannot recall being involved in a play which has, even in its rehearsal stage, been quite so funny.

The costumes, dialogue and action are all aimed at one thing - laughter, and I'm sure that everyone from East End to West Bay will thoroughly enjoy themselves.

Tickets may be obtained from outside the Bank of Nova Scotia building from tomorrow between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The play will be on from 22-31 March.
