Preceding the show, guests may enjoy a spread of culinary delights which will include two buffets of ribs, ham, chicken, conch, etc. Three bars will be serving beverages for those who would like to get a bit stiff before they face the music. Proceeds from the evening's entertainment (tickets are $7.50 each) go to the Rotary Club's fund for Bonaventure house.
As a brief introduction to a treasure of merriment, says the release from the membership, you may expect on arrival to be asked to join in painting a major "creation" on canvas, which will be auctioned off later in the evening.
As part of the cabaret, the Cayman Drama Society is presenting for the first time ever (in Cayman) an "etalage of fashion from La Salon de Wardrobe.' Due to the pomposity of these original unisex, universal and timeless designs (see photo) guests will undoubtedly exalt in their tribute to these attitudinarians" (models posing).
Afterwards, dockside dancing will be the order of the evening by the romantic Caribbean Sea complete with landlubbing palms framed by coloured spotlights.
