The show will be presented this summer. "The Boy Friend" enjoyed very successful runs in London's West End and on Broadway, and is filled with pleasing melodies and a highly humorous script.
There is also an opportunity for some of those taking part to show off their dancing skills, as the action takes part in the 1920s when the "Charleston" was all the rage. The first two rehearsals or the 8th and 15th March will be mainly to familiarise those attending with the show, and to learn a few of the songs.
Auditions for principal parts will be held at a later date.
The Cayman Singers and the Drama Society look forward to seeing lots of interested people on the 8th. They appeal once again to the "missing men" to come forward and have an enjoyable time in "The Boy Friend."
