Although they take very minor parts in "One For The Pot" they are a couple of classic cameo parts - incidental to the action but adding much to the overall brilliance of the play. Judith was born in 1946 in Glasgow and spent her childhood in Scotland, England and Africa.
She studied literature at Glasgow University and has worked as a nursery school teacher, a nurse, a chambermaid and a computer programmer. At the moment she is teaching English at the Cayman Islands High School. Her hobbies are theatre, bridge, swimming and sunbathing. Her theatrical caree has been somewhat chequered. She was first to forget her lines in the three school plays in which she took part; she was thrown out of drama class in college for giggling when she was acting the part of a tree bursting into leaf and she almost appeared as Ophelia in a student production of Hamlet. Even in the small part of Jennifer Bowater-Smith it is evident that considerable acting ability is there and it is hoped that Judith will be able to take parts more worthy of her talent in future productions. David Bennett arrived on the Island twenty months ago straight from England to work for L.B.I. Bank & Trust Co. He is a relatively new member to the Drama Society, first participation being helping back stage with "Johnny Belinda".
Dave has landed the mammoth part of Stanley Bowater-Smith, Jennifer's rather overwhelmed husband, and has the huge task of making six noises, not even intelligent ones at that, throughout the whole play. Commenting on his part he remarked that it was "too bloody marvellous for words!!!!
However, he consoles himself with the fact that even Sir Dave is also the 'prompt' for this production of "One For The Pot".
