Mrs. K.R. Crook, Patron of Cayman Drama Society, reads out the details of a cheque for CI$1000 being the first payment from the charity night performances of "Johnny Belinda" to the Grand Cayman Hospital Emergency Operating Theatre Fund. Speeches also were made on the closing night of the play by John Morgan, Chairman of Cayman Drama Society, Mrs. Crook and John Whalen, Hospital Administrator, on Stage at the Cinema.

Although final details are not available at this time, it is hoped about $3,000 was taken over the five nights. The Cayman Drama Society must recover expences but hopefully an additional donation can go to the Hospital.

A great success for all concerned, may we extend our congratulations.
