Friday 4th May will be the scene of great activity both at Owen Roberts Airport and subsequently throughout the day in Cayman Brac as the Cayman Drama Society prepare for their first ever performance outside Grand Cayman. To take a cast of nine, a backstage crew of sixteen plus set, lighting props and other equipment is no mean feat and although never attempted before, the Society feel that it can be done. Loading of backstage equipment including the entire set as seen at the Town Hall in George Town will start on Thursday evening. Cayman Airways DC3 which has been chartered for the trip to Cayman Brac will leave with the backstage crew at 6.30 a.m. on Friday morning with the remaining cast members following on the regular flight at 9.30 a.m.

Two trucks will transport the set and backstage members to the Cayman Brac High School where the rest of the day will be spent in building the set identically as built in George Town. Many people in Grand Cayman will already have seen this superb farce, "Love's A Luxury" ably directed by Stuart Hurst, and for those who have not, the show will continue running at the Town Hall in George Town on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week.

Those who have seen the performance must certainly appreciate the effort and organisation required to take this show to Cayman Brac. Under the able leadership of stage manager, Peter Phillips, the Society has no doubt that! this tremendous feat will be successfully achieved. Performances of the play will be held at Cayman Brac High School on Friday and Saturday 4th & 5th May starting time 8.00 p.m. Tickets are available at all branches of Barclays Bank on Cayman Brac.
