"A funny knock-about" is a pretty good description of "Doctor in the House", the play to be performed Wednesday through Saturday April 14, 15, 16, 17, at the George Town Hall by the Cayman Island Drama Society. Ken Morgan who will be remembered as "Clive" in the play presented last fall by the society, plays the lead as a shy, slightly naive medical student, Simon Sparrow. He is backed up by a strong supporting cast of 8½ other aspiring actors, including Colin Medhurst, accountant at the National City Bank, playing student Grimsdyke, Cable and Wireless Assistant Manager, Lionel Downer as the bombastic Mr. Lancelot, and Allison Alberga, one of the pretty nurses.

The action centres around Sparrow and his adventures as he enters into the world of medical school. The play is directed and produced by Val Morgan, wife of Royal Trust Manager John Morgan. Mrs. Morgan stepped into the shoes of John Shields who left two months ago to accept a post in Jamaica. Rehearsals have been arduous for some time with tremendous efforts by all concerned which should produce a worthwhile entertainment. Tickets are available from Society president Stanley Panton, at his Sta-Mar offices in the old Anchorage building.

By the way, the ½ member of the cast is "George" a skull, borrowed for the occasion.
